How do I add my Beta/Pregnancy Status?

To add your Beta results, click on the Plus icon in the scrolling navigation bar at the bottom of the Embie app homepage, and then swipe left till you reach the beta icon.

If you do not see the Beta Icon, it’s because you haven’t started a new cycle. Note that the beta Icon is only visible if your cycle is an IVF/ICSI + Fresh Transfer, IUI, Medicated Cycle or FET.

Once there, you’ll be prompted to answer questions about your Beta, including the HCG beta test date and hcg results. You can also add a second beta test result.

As always, we are sending you lots of baby dust that your little Embie(s) stick!!

If your HCG is negative, the cycle will automatically close and get archived in your previous cycle list.

What does Embie Premium include?

How do I change my profile picture?

To change your profile picture, navigate to profile at the top left hand corner of the app. Then click on user profile . Click on the black pencil edit button next to the profile image at the top of the page and give Embie permission to access your media files and camera. Select Gallery if you’d like to choose an existing picture or Camera if you’d like to take a new one.

How do I block/unblock a user?

We understand that you may not agree with everyone in the communities’ views. If you’d like to block an individual, you may go to their comment or post, and click edit/3 dot icon on the top right hand corner. A drop down with the option to block the user will appear.

Click on that and that users posts and comments will no longer be visible to you.

To unblock a user, navigate to settings > community settings. The user will be listed there for you to unblock.

How do I report a post or user?

If you see any disturbing posts, you may report that post and user to the administrator by clicking the edit/3 dot icon on the top right hand corner of their comment or thread. A drop down with the option to report will appear.

The administrator will receive your request from there and assess and /or delete the post or user’s activity.

How do I change my community notification settings?

By default you are notified when someone replies to your discussion in the feed or replies directly to your comment in another person’s discussion thread.

If you would like to turn these notifications off, click on the 3 line “Sandwich Menu” at the top right side of the app. Then click on Settings > Reminders & Notifications > Community Settings and toggle the bar to the left.

How do I cancel my subscription/free trial?

We’re sorry to see you go. If you’d like to cancel your subscription or free trial, you’ll need to do so directly in your App/Play Store account. You have to go through the specific app store to cancel the renewal. Please check out the guides from Google and Apple on how to cancel subscriptions:

Here are the instructions for the Apple app store: Within the Apple App Store, tap on the Embie subscription and then tap the “Automatic Renewal” toggle to cancel.

How do I get a refund for my Embie Subscription?

For Embie Premium users who were subscribers before March 11, 2021, here’s how you get a refund for your Subscription.

For iOS users: While we don’t have the ability to refund your purchase (only Apple can do that since they manage all the payment processing via the App store; they don’t allow third party app developers to issue refunds), here’s all the information you’ll need to request a refund from them. Why was I charged by Embie?

If you received a bill from either Google Play Store or Apple’s App Store for Embie, your account was enrolled in our premium subscription prior to March 11, 2021.

Embie users used to receive a free trial of Embie premium for 7 days. You have to manually cancel the subscription before the end of your trial period, otherwise the account becomes automatically subscribed to our monthly (or otherwise selected) subscription model.

Please note that the Google Play Store/App Store will bill you for the subscription up to 24 hours before the end of your 7 day trial.

What happens to my info if I take a break from treatments or premium membership?

We know how hard it is to go through fertility treatments and here to support you through your break.

You can pause your subscription at any time and the information you’ve entered will be waiting for you when you’re ready to return.

You’ll continue to have access to all the free features in our app like our community and tracking features. You’ll never lose access to your data.
